Strawberry Shakeology and Vegan Tropical Berry Shakeology Recipes are a refreshing change in our usual mix of Chocolate and Vanilla Shakeology repertoire. Strawberry Shakeology segways wonderfully into recipes with other fresh fruits and herbs.

We typically drink Vegan Tropical Strawberry Shakeology but these recipes go both ways for vegan and non-vegan blends. Here are our top 10 best strawberry Shakeology recipes.

These recipes are best with either Vegan (plant-based protein source) Tropical Berry Shakeology or regular (whey protein) Strawberry Shakeology.

1. The Agua Fresca

A classic Latin American drink that is as refreshing as it sounds! We love mixing Strawberry Shakeology with vegetables and this one won’t disappoint! 

  • 2 cups almond milk or water
  • 8 ice cubes
  • 1 scoop Strawberry Shakeology
  • 1/2 medium cucumber
  • 1 tbsp. chopped fresh mint


2. Going to the Greek

Creamy and smooth with Greek yogurt and a banana, this delicious drink is satiating as well as decadent!

  • 2 cups almond milk or water
  • 6 ice cubes
  • 1 scoop Strawberry Shakeology
  • 1/2 medium banana
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt


3. Superfood Edition

Packed with all the extra superfood punch you can fit into a glass!

  • 2 cups almond milk or water
  • 8 ice cubes
  • 1 scoop Strawberry Shakeology
  • 1/2 medium banana
  • 1 tsp. chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp. cacao nibs


4. Strawberry Pie

One of our favorites, especially in the springtime. Bring some pie into your glass!

  • 2 cups almond milk or water
  • 1 scoop Strawberry Shakeology
  • 1/2 of a medium banana
  • 2 tsp. peanut or almond butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 8 ice cubes
  • 1/4 cup of Greek yogurt


5. Triple Berry Booster

Superfruits, here we come! This one is great for when your immunity needs a pick-me-up or if you’re craving for something extra fruity!

  • 2 cups almond milk or water
  • 1 scoop Strawberry Shakeology
  • 1/2 cup of mixed frozen berries (blueberries and blackberries are favorites!)
  • 4 ice cubes
  • 1/4 cup of Greek yogurt


6. Strawberry Mint Fix

We encourage you to experiment with various herbs. Our top is mint but we also love Strawberry Shakeology with basil, rosemary, and cilantro.

  • 2 cups almond milk or water
  • 1 scoop Strawberry Shakeology
  • 1/2 of a medium banana
  • 8 ice cubes
  • 1 tbsp. chopped fresh mint
  • 1/2 lime of juice (fresh)


7. Rise and Shine

It’s first thing in the morning? We got you covered!

  • 2 cups orange juice
  • 1 scoop Strawberry Shakeology
  • 1/4 cup Greek or plain (2%) yogurt
  • 8 ice cubes
  • 1/2 medium banana


8. Kale-Berry

Need a way to hide in an extra servings of greens? This tasty smoothie masks the veggie taste while delivering a full bill of health!

  • 2 cups almond milk or water
  • 1 scoop Strawberry Shakeology
  • 1/2 cup of frozen chopped kale (or spinach)
  • 4 ice cubes
  • 1/2 medium banana
  • 1/2 tsp. peanut butter


9. Strawberry Ginger Latte

We love getting our ginger in anyway we can to promote good gut health. Mix strawberry, ginger, and iced coffee together for one tasty meal!

  • 1 cup almond milk or water
  • 1 cup coffee (cold)
  • 8 ice cubes
  • 1 scoop Strawberry Shakeology
  • 2 tbsp. chopped fresh ginger
  • 1/2 medium banana (optional for creaminess)


10. Fresh Strawberry Daiquiri

If you really want to amp this one up, add a bit of rum!

  • 1 cups coconut milk
  • 1 cup water or coconut water
  • 8 ice cubes
  • 1 scoop Strawberry Shakeology
  • 2 tbsp. lime juice
  • 1/2 medium banana

Bonus: Garnish or blend in any extra fruit you have!

tips for the best strawberry shakeology experience

We have 6 years of experience formulating Shakeology shakes. We’ve found that there is a right and wrong way to make them, no matter the flavor. If you’re not happy with the flavor, don’t abandon ship.

Follow these guidelines to make sure your Strawberry Shakeology or Vegan Tropical Berry Shakeology recipe turns out perfectly.

1. Add enough liquid

As you can see in our Strawberry and Vegan Tropical Berry Shakeology recipes above, we always recommend 2 cups. This is extremely important. It will be too thick and powerfully flavored if you use less.

If your blender isn’t large enough, you should buy a new one (we love this refurbished model). Remember, 2 cups or 16 ounces of liquid and you’re golden.

2. Ice makes a big difference

In the above Strawberry Shakeology recipes, we usually recommend 8 cubes. If they are small cubes, you might need 12. Ice adds to the flavor and further dilutes the Shakeology powder.

You have added enough ice if many pencil erasers sized bubbles surface after you power down the blender. 

3. When in doubt, more banana

In our above recipes, we typically recommend 1/2 a medium banana. But, feel free to use the whole banana. Banana changes the consistency and flavor of your Strawberry Shakeology smoothie for the better.

If your blender is getting full you can peel, cut, and freeze the bananas ahead of time and use them in place of ice. 

4. Water is good, milk is better

Water with Shakeology is still flavorful. However, if you make the Strawberry Shakeology recipe with almond milk, flax milk, or cow’s milk it will be richer. We recommend mixing half milk and half water. Coconut milk can create a weird consistency, almost like curdling. 

5. Use a blender

We always prefer to make our Shakeology shakes in a blender. The blender allows you to follow the above recipes and we like variety.

However, when you are on the go, such as at the airport on business travel, mixing Strawberry Shakeology with water in a shaker cup is another great option. Again, remember to mix it with at least 16 ounces of water (cold water is ideal) and shake well. 

6. Shakeology Without A Blender?

If you regularly mix Shakeology with water in a shaker cup, you should buy the vegan flavors. It’s more miscible with water than the regular flavor containing whey protein. We love vegan chocolate, vanilla, and café latte with water or almond milk.

We love Strawberry Shakeology and Vegan Tropical Berry Shakeology, but we drink all the flavors. The Vanilla Shakeology and Chocolate Shakeology are our favorites. Mainly because they are most versatile.

For example, unlike Strawberry and Café Latte Shakeology, you can add spinach or kale to Vanilla and Chocolate Shakeology without even tasting it.

Also, we buy the vegan flavors. It’s not that the regular flavors based on whey protein are bad. Instead, we prefer the taste and they mix better (no powdery chunks) with water in a shaker cup. Since we are on the go often, we are making shakes without a blender 50% of the time.
