1. The Gingerbread Man

Tastes just like a gingerbread cookie… and the best part? We add fresh ginger for more anti-inflammatory, superfood goodness!

  • 2 cups almond milk or water
  • 8 ice cubes
  • 1 scoop Café Latte Shakeology
  • 2 tbsp. fresh ginger
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon


2. The Pumpkin Spice Latte

As soon as the temperature cools down and the first leaf falls in spring, we instinctively grab for our Pumpkin Spice ANYTHING.

  • 2 cups almond milk or water
  • 8 ice cubes
  • 1 scoop Café Latte Shakeology
  • 1/2 can of pumpkin puree
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp. cloves


3. The Peppermint Mocha 

Good for all times of the year, this refreshing meal will energize your day – no need for the double espresso today!

  • 2 cups almond milk or water
  • 8 ice cubes
  • 1 scoop Café Latte Shakeology
  • 4 raw mint leaves (or 1 tsp. of peppermint extract)


4. The Nutty Banana Split

As decadent as it sounds. This is one of our go-to’s. The banana adds a rich, creamy texture and a touch of sweetness we can’t get enough of!

  • 2 cups almond milk or water
  • 8 ice cubes
  • 1 scoop Café Latte Shakeology
  • 1/2 of a medium banana
  • 2 tsp. peanut or almond butter


5. The Immunity Booster

When you need a pick-me-up, blend up this immune system boosting concoction and start feeling the energy and health come back.

  • 2 cups almond milk or water
  • 4 ice cubes
  • 1 scoop Café Latte Shakeology
  • 1/4 cup non-fat yogurt
  • 1/2 cup frozen berries


6. The Sleep Elixir

Some days, your body just needs a good rest. This smoothie is loaded with healthy ingredients high in magnesium, calcium, and protein to ease your body into a restful night’s sleep.

  • 2 cups almond milk or water
  • 4 ice cubes
  • 1 scoop Café Latte Shakeology
  • 1/2 of a medium banana
  • 2 tsp. peanut or almond butter
  • 1 cup of frozen spinach
  • 1/2 tsp. chia seeds


7. The Coca Mocha

Two of our favorite “nuts” = coconuts + coffee! We love the smooth way these ingredients compliment each other for a satiating meal.

  • 2 cups almond milk or water
  • 8 ice cubes
  • 1 scoop Café Latte Shakeology
  • 1/2 cup coconut water
  • 2 tbsp. shredded coconut


8. The Oatmeal Mocha Cookie

For a heavier meal reminiscent of oatmeal, we love to make this for breakfast. The oats add a fullness to the shake without modifying the texture!

  • 2 cups almond milk or water
  • 8 ice cubes
  • 1 scoop Café Latte Shakeology
  • 1/4 cup of dry oats
  • 1 tsp. raw honey


9. The Banana Spice Latte

A big favorite in our house, this spiced latte is a perfect balance of creaminess and punch.

  • 2 cups almond milk or water
  • 8 ice cubes
  • 1 scoop Café Latte Shakeology
  • 1/2 of a medium banana
  • 1 tsp. of cinnamon


10. The Hazelnut Latte

A perfect combo of hazelnuts and coffee. This aromatic shake has our house smelling good and our bodies feeling good.

  • 2 cups almond milk or water
  • 8 ice cubes
  • 1 scoop Café Latte Shakeology
  • 10 raw hazelnuts or 1 tsp. hazelnut extract
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract


tips for the best café latte shakeology experience

We have 6 years of experience formulating Shakeology shakes. We’ve found that there is a right and wrong way to make them, no matter the flavor. If you’re not happy with the flavor, don’t abandon ship. Follow these guidelines to make sure your Café Latte Shakeology or Vegan Café Latte Shakeology recipe turns out perfectly.

1. Add enough liquid

As you can see in our Café Latte Shakeology or Vegan Café Latte Shakeology recipes above, we always recommend 2 cups. This is extremely important. It will be too thick and powerfully flavored if you use less. If your blender isn’t large enough, you should buy a new one. Remember, 2 cups or 16 ounces of liquid and you’re golden.

2. Ice makes a big difference

In the above Café Latte Shakeology recipes, we usually recommend 4-8 cubes. If they are small cubes, you might need 12. Ice adds to the flavor and further dilutes the Shakeology powder. You have added enough ice if many pencil eraser sized bubbles surface after you power down the blender. 

3. When in doubt, more banana 

In our above recipes, we typically recommend 1/2 a medium banana. But, feel free to use the whole banana. Banana changes the consistency and flavor of your Café Latte Shakeology smoothie for the better. If your blender is getting full you can peel, cut, and freeze the bananas ahead of time and use them in place of ice.

4. Water is good, milk is better

Water with Shakeology is still flavorful. However, if you make the Café Latte Shakeology recipe with almond milk, flax milk, or cow’s milk it will be richer. We recommend mixing half milk and half water. Coconut milk can create a weird consistency, almost like curdling. 

5. Use a blender

We always prefer to make our Shakeology shakes in a blender. The blender allows you to follow the above recipes and we like variety. However, when you are on the go, such as at the airport on business travel, mixing Café Latte Shakeology with water in a shaker cup is another great option. Again, remember to mix it with at least 16 ounces of water (cold water is ideal) and shake well. 

Pro Tip: If you regularly mix Shakeology with water in a shaker cup, you should buy the vegan flavor. It’s more miscible with water than the regular flavor containing whey protein.

We love Café Latte Shakeology and Vegan Café Latte Shakeology, but we drink all the flavors. Vanilla Shakeology and Chocolate Shakeology are our favorites because they are most versatile. For example, unlike Strawberry and Café Latte Shakeology, you can add spinach or kale to Vanilla and Chocolate Shakeology without even tasting it.

Also, we buy the vegan flavors. It’s not that the regular flavors based on whey protein are bad. Instead, we prefer the taste and the vegan powder mixes better (no chunks) with water in a shaker cup. Since we are on the go often, we are making shakes without a blender 50% of the time.
